谓语动词加s规则（第三人称谓语动词加-s或-es规律）

一般现在时态中，第三人称单数名词或代词做句子的主语时，谓语动词后面要加-s或-es,但并不是所有的动词直接加就可以了，这是有变化规律的：

1.一般情况下，大多数动词后面直接加-s,比如：

He worksvery hard.

My father walksto factory everyday.

2.以o结尾的动词加-es,比如：

She goesto school as usual.

He usually doeshis homework very carefully.

3.以s,sh,ch,x等结尾的动词加-es ,比如：

My grandfather watchesTV every night.

My son always finisheshomework before ten o`clock every Sunday.

Every time his watch has stopped,he always fixesit by himself.

4.以辅音字母+y的动词，把y变成i再加-es,比如：

In summer,he alwayscarriesan umbrella.

He often gets up late and hurries to school.

5.以元音字母+y结尾的动词直接加s.

Hurricane always destroysmany houses.

Mary playsthe piano each night.

6.动词原形后面有e时，直接加-s,比如：

LiMinglikesplaying football.

Uncle Wang often makescakes.
