Daysturnedintoweeks,andJohn'sconditionremainedthesame.Thedoctorshadgivenuphope,butJohnhadn't.Hecontinuedtopray,andhefeltasenseofpeacethathehadneverfeltbefore.Oneday,whileJohnwaslyinginbed,hehadavision.Hesawabrightlightshiningdownonhim,andheheardavoicethatsaid,"Benotafraid,forIamwithyou."Johnknewthatitwasasignofhope.Thenextday,thedoctorscametoseeJohn.Theywereastonishedtofindthathistumorshadshrunk.Theycouldn'texplainit,buttheyknewthatitwasamiracle.John'sfamilywasoverjoyed.Theycouldn'tbelievethattheirprayershadbeenanswered.TheyknewthatitwasonlythroughthepowerofprayerthatJohnhadbeenhealed.

Johnwasdischargedfromthehospital,andhewenthometohisfamily.Hewasachangedman.Hehadexperiencedamiracle,andheknewthathehadbeengivenasecondchance.Fromthatdayon,Johnbecameamanoffaith.Hewenttochurch,readtheBible,andprayedeveryday.HeknewthatprayerwasthekeytohissurvivalandthatGodhadansweredhisprayersinwayshecouldneverhaveimagined.John'sstorytouchedmanylives.Peoplewhohadlosthopefoundcomfortinhiswords.TheyknewthatifGodcouldperformamiracleinJohn'slife,hecoulddoitintheirstoo.Today,Johniscancer-free.Heisgratefulforeverymomentofhislifeandknowsthatitisonlythroughprayerthathehasbeengivenasecondchance.Hisstoryisatestamenttothepowerofprayerandthemiraclesthatcanhappenwhenwebelieve.
